He has worked for more than 10 years as a member of the board of the Chilean Society of Hemophilia, of which he is currently the vice-president. 

As a health professional, he collaborates in the roles of advisor and counselor regarding evidence-based medicine, new treatments, and access for the population. He has participated in the review of the benefit and impacts of new types of treatment, as well as in the development of clinical management and rehabilitation guidelines for hemophilia in Chile. He has participated as a speaker in different training events for health professionals and the hemophilia community in this country. Felipe has been a key active participant in meetings and negotiations between the Chilean Hemophilia Society and the Chilean Ministry of Health, pharmaceutical industry, and other decision-makers, and at the level of representation of the organization in national and international instances.
