2023 Global Hemophilia Advocacy Leadership Summit
Event overview
Date: Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January 2023
The 11th annual Global Hemophilia Advocacy Leadership (GHAL) Summit, hosted by the Hemophilia Advocacy Advisors Board (HAAB) sponsored by Bayer and BioMarin, will take place on 28 & 29 January 2023.
Although the event will again be virtual, its importance has not changed, namely, to bring together advocates from around the world to discuss emerging needs and trends within the bleeding disorders community.
The theme of this year’s program is ‘Priorities in Practice: Understanding & Advocating your Community Needs’ and will focus on:
- The Advocacy Community: how to identify the advocacy needs and priorities in your community
- The Decision Maker Community: understanding how the priorities of policy and decision makers can help advocates influence decisions
You will have the opportunity to hear from leading experts about ensuring a plan is in place to understand community priorities; engage in immersive workshops to analyze case studies and to discuss shared experiences and learnings with the hemophilia community.
