Tania Maria O. Pietrobelli is the president of the Brazilian Federation of Hemophilia (FBH), which is affiliated to the WFH. She has been in this chair since 2009 and, during her management, she conquered the prophylactic treatment for all people with hemophilia as a legitimate right, in Brazil. In 1992, Tania founded the Association of Hemophiliacs of Rio Grande do Sul, located in southern Brazil, which is also affiliated to FBH.

Before assuming as the president, she was vice president of FBH from 2005 to 2009. Since 2017, she has been a board member of the Coalición de Las Américas (CoA) as the Public and Institutional Relations Coordinator
